Wear a costume, or don't. Be free to be yourself, it's a very friendly and open environment that attracts all types.

It's fun, entertaining, good shows and great music. There are educational areas and fantastical areas. I've been coming since I was a young girl and I've watched it grow and get better.

We go every year! There are lots of shows for all ages and interests. Great food, especially the turkey legs. My husband and I got one and couldn't finish between us! Jousting, falconry, comedy, hand to hand combat, glad blowing demonstrations, all sorts of stuff. And that doesn't include the shops! Jewelery, clothing, toys, weapons, music, armor, decorations, accessories, creating supplies, food, all sorts of things. Definitely recommend

It's a completely different experience for adults to go and drink and have a blast, with adult rated comedy shows.

This festival does take place outside, so keep that in mind. The grounds are either gravel or grass. There are plenty of shows/entertainment to see. But some of them overlap, so check out the show times beforehand. There aren't as many demonstrations from the time period as I thought there would be. They had a blacksmith and glass blower demonstration, but what about medical/medicine demonstrations? The apothecary listed in the pamphlet sells products like handmade soaps and oils, but doesn't do a demonstration. That would be interesting. My favorite part was the falconry show and being able to see the birds up close. Very neat! We'll most likely go again next year.

I love ren fest. I try to go every year. It's like taking a step back in time. Lots of stuff to learn about and see. Love the glass blowing show the most. It can be a bit pricey but it's worth it. I would love to work there one year.

You can bring your family with young children, there's rides and cute and funny shows and activities that a kid friendly. Be prepared to she'll out $3-$5 per ride, but they are all man powered.

Wonderful place to bring the family! It keeps growing every year. The staff puts on a great show! If you have never been, it is a must see!!! Only down side is that you want to spend all your money on the wonderful things that the vendors have. Friends and family look forward to it every year!

If you're tight on cash, pack your own lunch and beverages.
