I received the email telling me my online order was ready. Not only was it not ready (again) but no one seemed to know what to do to get it ready. The customer service employee was rude to the other employees and absolutely no help to me. I asked for the manager and no one came. The employee who finally was getting my order tried to tell my husband, a 20-year veteran of the Navy who was in charge of shipping and receiving, how to load his truck with the supplies. Thank you, Home Depot, for FINALLY coming to our rescue. Maybe now home improvement projects won't be so painful!
Will never do business with the flooring department again. Went to purchase in stock carpet on Labor Day and when I noticed the roll they had didn't look like enough, I asked someone if they had more. After waiting for over 30 minutes, they clerk said he couldn't find it right now but he took my name and number and said he would call in the morning if they found it or if it had to be ordered. When he called the next day he said they would order it in, should take around 5 days and asked me to convert my square yards to square feet. Seriously?? This is the flooring department and they can't do the math? Then he said I would have to come in a prepay. Why?? This is a stock item they were low on. After calling back to speak with a manager, I was told they did have a roll in the back and enough for my order. Why couldn't they tell me that on Labor Day when I originally went in? Went the next day to purchase the carpet and was told by the guys who were cutting it that I would have to get a flat bed cart and haul it out myself. One smart ass said it won't fit in my little shopping cart. Genius. $1300.00 worth of carpet and they won't take it up front?? I needed to get carpet in the rooms quickly or I would have gone somewhere else. Next time I will know better.
I see why the reviews for this store are so poor. Online clearly states open till 10. Employees outside were incredibly rude about letting me know they close at 9. Like I was an idiot for trying to come in after 9.
When you ask for help the employees haul ass from you, i mean they scatter in all directions and it must be because they have no knowledge whatsoever you need help with. If you are a woman shopper, put your dam gloves on and load your own material like a man because not a lonesome soul will be there to help. Well now, welcome Home Depot because i believe that you will make Lowe's history. Lowe's has great merchandise, a large selection and good prices, but there is no one to help you, especially loading or finding carts. I guess they need to update their hiring system by providing employees some training on how to help customers. When presented a choice from now on I will go anywhere else, but there, i mean i would go to the dam dollar store if they have what i need or drive 10 miles further to Home depot.......
My home flooded and I purchased several lightening fixtures a year ago. We just got to the point where we were installing them and found one hung too low. Lowe's took it back and gave me a store credit with no problems!
