A lazy way to make someone's order is to deep fry it. I've never heard of anybody deep frying seafood but here if you don't specify that deep frying is fat and nasty and lazy they will fix you right up so make sure you tell these idiots if you don't want it deep fried. Oh yea, they say it's not deep fried it's just simply fried. They will tell you they put it in a fryer and fry it but it's not deep fried. Dumb! They offered for us to bring back our food and they will look at it to make sure it's not deep fried. How nice, these idiots want to look at my food. No dine in, no chairs outside for people to sit, this place sucks!
As a truck driver. I like to eat where the natives eat. I was at the pilot and saw this place across the street. I had the seafood gumbo and shrimp poboy. It was beyond delicious. So good wanted to go back for more. Will Be back again. Loved the friendly service. A+
Review from Brian (below) couldn’t be more wrong! My fried shrimp po boy was excellent! Big shrimp and they were plentiful. Bread was super fresh and it was dressed to perfection. Will definitely be back for crawfish and boiled shrimp! Have had a few different people tell me their boiled seafood is the best around.
fantastic food and nice people! we got the catfish and gumbo and both were wonderful!! would definitely make the drive from Baton Rouge to go there again!!
Spending the weekend at the Petro truck stop... found this neat place right next door...The food was amazing, enough for a couple meals and the owners were so friendly... when we get here again, will definitely go back... truckers if you haven't eaten there, you don't know what your missing!! Get there!
