Not a patient and will NOT be! Called to speak with a nurse today about high risk services provided and NICU services since I am relocating from Iowa to Louisiana in a couple weeks. The secretary absolutely FLAT REFUSED to even allow me to leave a message without setting up an appointment first- that I would end up having to pay for even if their services weren't what I decided I needed/wanted..? I need to pick a provider before I leave here as I am 24 weeks into my 4th HR pregnancy and need to let my provider here know who to send records to and be in contact with. Would it have been so hard to let me speak to a RN for 3 minutes to find out what level NICU you offer? Do you expect me to pick your provider without even speaking with a RN there about your services?
I love Dr.Porter. She explains everything thoroughly and is one of the best Dr.s at the hospital. She really listens to her patients and pays attention to every detail about the patients care. She also has a great personality which goes a long way.
