We had excellent customer service from Chris at the Hammond, La - Best Buy.
He was knowledgable, helpful and patient.
Best Buy always has great quality and they will price match items if you find something at another store at a discounted price.
Today we went in and Tyler helped us search for a camera. I was looking for something specific and unfortunately they were out of stock. It's all good though. Tyler was cool and very helpful.
Full-time employees are generally very knowledgeable and kind but a lot of the floor staff are part time or temporary and they are not very helpful. I had to wait for an hour to speak with the mobile tech. The cs rep was very nice.
I reminded him of that this recent visit and thanked him.
The manager of this place is horrible! I went in to buy an Amazon Echo. There were none on the shelf so I asked him if they had any in stock. He lied and told me no and that he did not know when they would be back in stock. It took asking another associate to check for me to find out that they had 500+ units in stock and when I confronted him about it he walked away. He also creepily stalked me around the store during my entire visit. Will not be shopping here again!
He treated us with the same professionalism and kindness at that time as well.
This is a relatively new Best Buy that is very conveniently located right off the interstate in Hammond. This store has the usual selection that you'd expect. Years ago this mall was a horrible place to shop, but they've done a great job building a fun, modern place to shop.
He had helped ys a number of months ago, when we walked in after gutting our house due to the August 2016 flood.
We'll be back next time.
